CLTW Roles and Responsibilities:
Maurice Burke is a course developer and faculty advisor for CLTW. He designed and teaches the course Math 528 Curriculum Design: The Case of Mathematics and Science. He is currently the chair of three CLTW doctoral dissertation projects.

Primary Research Interests:
Interventions, particularly the uses of technology, to improve achievement in mathematics

Other Relevant Professional Information:
Maurice Burke holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from the University Wisconsin - Madison. He has been a director of the Montana State University online masters program for secondary mathematics teachers. He was also the co-director of the SIMMS Project, an NSF funded state systemic initiative that produced the SIMMS integrated mathematics curriculum now in use around the country today.
