Course Delivery System

CLT-West courses will be delivered online using two types of course management systems:

• Blackboard, for courses delivered by University of Northern Colorado and by University of Montana.  
• WebCT, for courses delivered by Portland State University, Colorado State University, and Montana State University.

For either system, students need only have a personal computer equipped with browser software, and a connection to the Internet. CLT-West courses emphasize discussion and interaction among participants, and students should expect to log in to the course daily. However, much of the actual work may be done off-line, to minimize actual connect time.

General Policies

CLT-West courses are designed for students who are enrolled in graduate programs in education, mathematics or a natural science at one of the five partner universities. These students should contact the CLT-West administrator on their home campus to initiate registration in the desired course for the upcoming term. A list of contacts appears below.

Qualified non-matriculated students may also enroll in CLT-West courses. These students should initiate course registration by contacting the CLT-West administrator on the campus delivering the course.

All CLT-West doctoral courses carry tuition of $350/semester credit (for courses delivered by Universityof Northern Colorado,University of Montana,Montana State University, or Colorado State University or $265/quarter credit for courses delivered by State University.
